Hello CCIA Ed Committee members, fyi, this is a video made by Casey and Micayle Petersen, they are spot-on on their research of CRT Topics, it is about an hour long.  https://youtu.be/zyNW9nlFDBkAt minimum, it is a great resource, I’m sending this to Juan for posting on the CCIA webpage.  What struck me most was their analysis of “Implicit Bias”.  It has been de-bunked (white people are NOT implicitly biased) yet LCPS and NM PED’s required training still uses this extensively in every Equity-related training.
CCIA Education Committee UpdateAt present we are:  (1) officially requesting the SEL High School curriculum, (2) requesting more information on the “It gets better” gender closet grant-awarded program at Centennial High, (3) requesting the Black Education act training received by students at LCPS from earlier this year.  
I need help on reviewing the Curriculum and Training when LCPS releases it.  The review would consist of parents going to LCPS to view, probably 1-2 hr per day, it may take several days.We already know that SEL 8th grade curriculum is very disturbing (from Utah parents).  I’m attaching their quick summary and full review here, it’s plain for all to see.  If we find disturbing material at LCPS, we will bring evidence forth.V/RRick ReynaudCCIA Education Committee575-312-0439
