The National Rifle Association Attachment provides an excellent summary of the current status of the bills, etc.
I’m attaching the Representative and Senator Profiles as PDF attachments along with the latest bills that I’m aware of.
Mr. Richard Barbaras Owner/Instructor of Riclin Firearms Training, LLC has provided two updates from the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association. I will keep updates forwarded as I receive them.
Please Call or email as soon as you can requesting that these Bills NOT BE supported in any shape form or fashion. (CALLING IS BEST)
Do be polite and business like providing valid sound reason for opposing the bills.
For example, not violating their oath of office to support the state constitution and disregarding New Mexico’s state citizens’ rights.
Encourage them to pass bills that will Punish the individuals who choose to violate state laws when committing crimes using a firearm, etc.
Law-abiding citizens who hunt and participate in competitive shooting sports, etc. should not be punished for the deeds of a few criminals.
Last and Not Least: It should be about the “CRIMINALS” not the guns.
