The CDC is considering adding COVID-19 shots to the list of childhood immunizations, despite the facts that COVID illness is very mild for children, COVID vaccines are known to increase the risk for heart inflammation, and that these vaccines do not prevent either contracting or spreading the virus. The CDC ACIP committee is meeting on Oct 19-20 and will be voting on this item. If this vaccine is added to the childhood vaccination schedule, it will then be on the list of required immunizations for school children nationwide and the vaccine manufacturers will be shielded from liability.

HEALTH AGENCIES PULLING BACK FROM RECOMMENDING COVID VACCINES
Meanwhile, various other countries and locations are pulling back from recommending these shots for healthy children as well as for adults up to age 65.
· Florida had already recommended against the use of COVID shots for all healthy children since March 2022. Recently, the Surgeon General of Florida is no longer recommending the use of mRNA shots for men aged 18-39yo due to an 84% increased incidence of cardiac-related deaths in the month following vaccination: https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/FLDOH/bulletins/3312697
· The United Kingdom is no longer offering COVID vaccine boosters to healthy children under age 16yo (unless they are high-risk), and is not recommending booster shots for people under age 50 (unless they are high-risk): https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/coronavirus-vaccine/
