I feel we need clarity on the Pledge of Allegiance. https://www.ushistory.org/documents/pledge.htm A note should be added that by order of Marine Corp Headquarters a Marine cannot render a salute when out of uniform. For those unfamiliar with Marine Corps practices, when a Marine enters a building he always removes his cover (his hat). Thus a Marine may render a flag salute when indoors because his salute is the placement of the finger tips to the uniform cover. Rob Wood
