Protect New Mexicans Access to State Parks

New Mexico State Parks
Despite an enormous state budget surplus of 3.48 billion dollars for 2024, the state is proposing increased fees for New Mexico Parks!

The study they are looking at recommended:
Elimination of most day-use fees for New Mexico residentsImplementation of a non-resident day-use fee
Eliminating Annual PassesAdjusting (increasing) camping and utility fees
Adjusting (increasing) boat registration and launching fees
Adjusting (increasing) entrance fees at Living Desert Zoo, Gardens State Park, and Smokey Bear Historical ParkIt raises questions about the state’s priorities and whether the actions they are taking are in the best interests of its citizens.
Leave a Public Comment to tell the department what you think about this!
Take Action!
