It would be interesting to know how many students LCPS lost to other schools or simply did not return to any school and then how students are counted for funding metrics. If the individual schools do not loose funding due to student loss then it is clear to say that per student spending at that school increases even if only for a few years. This should please all the more money per student mantra folks so many tout as improving education which nowhere is that premise validated. The problem here is that unless the school has the flexibility to readjust to changes in students the money is just wasted on unneeded resources whether they be physical or personnel. Rob
