Generative AI
On chatGPT: Generative AI is a tool. That is all. If it is used for nefarious purposes as has been done with the printing presses printed words and pictures we as individuals must be smart enough to discern it. Unfortunately, the purpose of formalized school creates standardized robots that are unable to do this. If you are distrustful of anything it should be over the 100+++ years of teaching children not to think on their own. That is what is scary. If generative AI is a danger to society the sinister culprit that caused that danger is the standardizing of thought through our compulsory education format.
