“It Doesn’t Hurt To Ask” by Trey Gowdy
I suggest a lot of books that I feel will help people see a deeper side of situations so they are not just reacting to the daily news flashes that come across our screens. So when I come across a synopsis like this by the author of one of those books I share it because we are all time deficient. I hope some may find the 30 minutes to listen to it.
I am so glad 4 years ago Trey did this interview. I read his book “It Doesn’t Hurt To Ask” last year and it is nice to be able to gain a refresher on what he covered which is the practice of expertise in argument and get a glimpse of how the political environment has changed, not for the better in my opinion. We may have got Trump in but I am not very hopeful that the societal divide, which is our greatest challenge, will diminish because of it.
