Dear Parishioners, Families, and Friends:
WHAT the Knights of Columbus New Mexico State Council (NMSC) are asking: We have an urgent request to raise $25k statewide (Supreme will match the other $25k) for an ultrasound machine in Las Cruces, NM.
- Request Councils, Assemblies of the Knights and Parishioners to contribute generously towards this effort and do so immediately. Any amount helps!
WHY we’re asking: The abortion clinic at the center of the Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court case (that overturned Roe v. Wade) has relocated from Mississippi to our own back yard in Las Cruces, NM.
- Southwest Coalition for Life has been expecting this move and already has a pregnancy center (Guiding Star) right next to the abortion clinic in Las Cruces. What the pregnancy center needs is an ultrasound machine as soon as possible!
