Hi there,You indicated that you are interested in signing and/or helping out with referendum petitions for Las Cruces/Doña Ana County.
- The referendum petitions are going to be used to allow We the People to challenge some of the most egregious Bills passed by the NM Legislature, including those related to elections, abortion, and “gender affirming” healthcare.
- If we can get enough petition signatures statewide, we will be able to force these Bills to be put on the ballot for a general vote.
At the CCIA Meeting on Thursday April 27 at 6pm, Joan Scherer and I will be discussing how people can help and we will also have the petitions there and ready for signature.
