Subject: Unjust Blocking of Access to County Building

Dear Commissioners Schaljo-Hernandez, Reynolds, Murillo, and Sanchez,I was very disappointed to see you vote against allowing the National Day of Prayer to be observed at the Doña Ana County Building.
I am not Christian myself, but nonetheless I believe that allowing religious observances is one of the cornerstones of our free country. Your vote goes against the principles of our State and Federal Constitutions.
Please do not let your own biases get in the way of according due respect and freedom to the citizens of this County. The County Building is taxpayer funded, and it is unjust for you to block access to this public space.
