I must say that I am astonished by your vote for retaining the Jack of Hearts book. What rationale convinced you that a book of that nature is good for minors and appropriate for school libraries? It must have taken some incredible amount of mind melding acrobatics when your community needed a sound, common sense, clear minded leader. What were you thinking?? Your votes must be void of any persuasion other than what is best for the kids – EVERY TIME. Our society continues to fail to protect kids because leaders fail to have the moral fortitude to stand strong in the face of agendas that are destroying the basic decency and virtuous compass of our young people. You see it, you know it and you voted for it. I am profoundly disappointed. It saddens me to know that we have NO representation on this LCPS school board.
