LAS CRUCES – The Las Cruces Gospel Rescue Mission Clothing Room serves our
community 7 days a week and has an urgent need for donated blankets, the organization
recently announced. Donations can be dropped oR at 1760 West Hadley Ave. from 10 to
11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays.
LCGRM also seeks monetary donation to aid in the organization’s mission, which
includes:
Preparing and serving three meals a day for the community’s poor and homeless
Providing shelter and support for the vulnerable people voluntarily quarantined at
LCGRM Keeping the organization’s small staR of minimum-wage workers employed
(cooks, driver, shelter supervisors, facilities maintenance)

‘We are so grateful for the individuals, churches, and businesses that have already
reached out to help us,’ said LCGRM Director Brian Ormand in a news release. ‘We
understand that they too are facing digcult times. Historically, we have not received (or
sought) tax dollars to run our operations, so we are especially thankful for the individuals
who support this ministry. Our thoughts and prayers are with our donors, and of course
with those we serve every day.
