Dear New Mexicans,
Will you give 5 minutes to help New Mexico today? New Mexico State University (NMSU) has announced that COVID-19 vaccination will now be mandatory for all students.
—————
We need to push back against this policy to let NMSU that this policy is wrong. NMSU receives funding from the state of NM, which means that some of your tax dollars are funding NMSU.
Please help us express strong disagreement with this policy in order to protect people’s fundamental rights to make their own medical choices. These policies tend to have a domino effect, so whether you attend NMSU or not, this policy has the potential to affect ALL New Mexicans when other organizations follow suit.

Potential talking points:
- Mandatory vaccination is discriminatory.

- If you are NMSU Alumni or currently have family working or attending school there, please make sure to mention that.
- If this policy would lead you to disenroll or rule out NMSU as a school, make sure to mention that.
